Background
Where it started
Chris's background started in the 80's working for ECV Pro Image in Crows Nest in Sydney. At the time ECV was producing some of the most creative commercials and music clips in Australia. Many international bands wanted a much stronger profile on Music TV and would visit Australia to work with some of the most experienced creative director's here like Russell Mulcahy just as MTV's influence over the music industry was solidified. MTV was the major influence on the growth of music videos during the 1980s globally along with local shows Countdown , Sounds and Rage.
In the late 80's for 4 years Chris worked for SBS TV in Sydney. Chris's role crossed over from tape operating, editing, production, edit bay and on location production across all the shows on air. He worked on the 1990 Federal election, various Tour de France, World cup, the daily World News.
